One of the brightest directions in a wooden house-building, it is possible no doubt to name fakhverk. Exactly he united in itself the charm of old times and modern comfort.

Enitially the term «fakhverk» was mentioned in the book by «Squire» the English authoress Maria Martha Shervud. In 1842 a term was published in «Encyclopaedia of architecture» of Joseph Gvilta.

Fakhverk house, in a usual for us kind which meets in Old Europe, purchased the outlines in dark Ages. They were characteristic for medieval Denmark, Germany, part of France and Switzerland. Fakhverk (germ. Fachwerk is a farm) is a type of a build construction, at which a spatial section serves as bearing basis from diagonal (under a different corner) beams from a soft-wood.
